Paulette Stewart, MDA native New Yorker, Dr. Stewart earned her medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. She completed a dual residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, receiving rigorous clinical training at Kings County Hospital, Downstate Medical Center, and Staten Island University Hospital. Following residency, Dr. Stewart spent six years providing care at a large not-for-profit community health center in Midtown Manhattan, serving a diverse patient population. In 2006, Dr. Stewart opened her private practice in Queens, the community where she was raised. As the daughter of Jamaican parents, her goal was to serve the growing West Indian population. Cambria Heights offered the ideal setting for culturally responsive, patient-centered care. Since 2020, Dr. Stewart has expanded access to care through telehealth visits, allowing patients to receive comprehensive medical services while minimizing exposure risks.
